Vaadi Herbals - Lychee Lip Therapy Review

I had heard a lot about the wonders of herbal products but I never made myself get up and splurge on these.
Because, according to me "herbal products" aren't well advertised. It is just once in a while you get to see a full fledged advertisement on it. ....A rare case!!!
There are some herbal brands that are marketed too well like Shahnaz...Lotus...Himalaya...

You can call me a hoarder of various lip balms. Infact I love all the different flavours, the tinted ones and most important...I love their cute packaging.

As a customer...I give a lot of weightage to two things;
1) Packaging
2) Colour

According to me, the above two factors act as a "Silent Marketing Tool".

Coming back to the product...

My lips tend to get dry very soon..Chapped (better word)..(Hoping to get right kind of moisture soon...mwaahhh ;) ). In winters I need extra dollops of jelly on my lips.

Dry lips are a strict no - no in any kind of scenario. You girls will agree to this...Hands down!!!

I seldom go to any beauty shop and purchase stuff (except for skin care products pertaining to my face).

Online shopping is my thing!!! While surfing FLIPKART, I came across "VAADI HERBALS".

Ohhhh! the brand name....so small....so cute...and so very herbal.

Well I made a decision ...I had to try Vaadi Herbals products but as it was my first purchase from Vaadi ;

1) Did not go for facial skin care product  ( Never purchase a facial skin product without trying it)

2) Start with a simple and harmless product

LIP BALM!!!!!!!! was the answer.

BoMi (Initials of Bohemian Mistletoe) says;

I am in absolute love with this product. As my lips tend to get very dried, initially I had my doubts about this product. But boy!!! It surprised me to the T.

It gives my lips an excellent moisture and keeps my lips hydrated comfortably for 5 hours. As I mentioned earlier that its fragrance entices you...I am completed fixated to it.

I use it thrice a day and I am pleasantly surprised that the tub still has a lot of cream in it. I have been using it for a good long one month and I am sure it will be my lip buddy for the next 2 months.

Rs 30 = 3 months....Its fab...Its a killer product @ such a price.

Green Ticks

  • Excellent moisturizing for 5 hours
  • Packaging
  • Fragrance
  • Price .....A big Thumbs up for this
Red Crosses
  • I wish they could make this in a stick packaging (like TBS concealer) because most of the time it gets stuck in the inner surface of your nails and it gets bit irritating.

Ratings

5 on 5

I have no reasons to deduct the stars. I highly recommend this product because it is actually a therapy to your lips. I have used other flavours too. But I can conveniently say that this is the best among them. The other flavours are ;
  1. Orange & Shea Butter
  2. Pineapple
  3. Blueberry
  4. Mint
  5. Strawberry & honey
  6. Mix Fruit (They have stopped it's production)

P.S. Vaadi Herbals products are available only on Flipkart, Nykaa, Purplle, Zap Living, HealthKart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Ebay.

Double P.S.: Trying my hand at product photography :)

Gait of a Beautiful Girl

"A beautiful girl can make you dizzy, like you've been drinking Jack and Coke all morning. She can make you feel high, full of the single greatest commodity known to man - PROMISE. Promise of a better day. Promise of a greater hope. Promise of a new tomorrow. This particular aura can be found in a gait of a beautiful girl. In her smile, in her soul, the way she makes every rotten little about life seem like it's going to be okay" #Beautiful Girls.

Beauty....Beautiful...

My first post and I figured it's time to write on beauty. But there are a couple of questions that just sprung up from the little corner of my mind.

What is Beauty? What is Beautiful to you?

No particular answer to it. For one, beauty could be the first rays of sun....for someone, it could be the smile of his mother...for a woman who has just given birth, it is the way how her young one opens it's eyes.

For me it could mean surrounded by amazing and vibrant colours and for you it could mean a breathtaking visual at an uninhabited island.

Beauty has different connotations.

But the crux of Beauty and being Beautiful is the ability to attract attention and your sense of awe.

I want to use this space to talk about all those things that makes a person an object of awe, the desire for lust and ofcourse....Being outright Gorgeous

Frankly, I took almost six months (being a bit modest here ;) ) as to what to write upon. I read a couple of blogs here and there, took a lot of inspiration and finally decided to write whatever comes to my mind.

Nahhhhhhh.... sounded vague!!!

"Find a niche Ashwini...write something that is close to your heart...something which not only helps you but also others"

Tadaaannggg...Got my answer....It has to be BEAUTY....FOOD...TRAVEL...

In my blog you will come across many beauty products, food products and travel places with their reviews.

Mind you....they will be first hand reviews... All the products bought by me with my hard earned money ;) and reviewed too.

Three Cheers for my first post. I feel really elated about it. (I have that kiddish grin on my face right now)
